Obama; Carter II?

Democrats, especially the far-left wing of the party, continue to amaze me with their ability to determine good and evil.  The murder of innocent people demanding justice in Iran receives an "outrage" from President Obama after 5 days, but the murder of a single greedy physician who eliminated probably 30,000 viable children draws complete detestation from the entire party in less than one hour!  Are we to assume that Democrats are racists?  Is it because the Iranians murdered in the streets are not like them but Dr. Tiller was one of their own?  Or is it "inaction due to over-analysis" as we saw throughout the Clinton administration, or an inability to act for fear of making a horrible error as Carter did with Iran and Reagan did in Lebanon?

Democrats have painted themselves into a corner where foreign affairs are concerned by deciding to negotiate on all things first.  North Korea's Kim Jung Il sees this weakness and immediately exploits it.  The Ayatollas in Iran are certain the Americans are too soft to interfere with their nuclear program or bloody suppresion of the demonstrators in Tehran and other parts of Iran.  But this week ABC News is broadcasting from the White House to insure that the over-priced, incomprehensible, graft-filled health plan that is only being supported by Obama and one-fourth of the electorate is shoved down our throats.  Why are we not cocentrating on foreign affairs?  Is it because Obama is simply the puppet of Rahm Emanuel?  I think so.  Emanuel is stressing the Democrat domestic agenda at the expense of defense and foreign affairs, just like the Carter administration.  That backfired!

It's time for Obama to either prioritize the safety of this country and our interests abroad or start paying the price for his inaction and mixed signals.  Like Clinton, he appears to be continually campaigning for 2012.  Like Carter, he's too involved in his public image to be a real leader of the entire country.  Bottom line: America definitely not as safe today as we were on in January.
