Now he steps up! Today President Obama stepped up to criticize the "coup" in Honduras this weekend. Unknowledgeable of the rules of the O.A.S. he may find himself unable to prevent a military intervention (read takeover) by Venezuela's Hugo Chavez. Uh oh. Somebody get the man a "reality" teleprompter!
Manuel Zelaya was grabbing power in Honduras in defiance of the country's legislator and supreme court. The military stepped in to bloodlessly remove the dictator wannabe Zelaya and immediately swore in the constitutional successor. But BHO is beyond analyzing what has actually occurred.
When the people elect a leader to look after the common good, he is supposed to do so. But, again BHO is supporting petty dictators. The conduct of foreign affairs by this administration has become a Three Stooges comedy. God bless us, everyone. Because we're going to need it.
